Members of the team from Veterinary Happiness take part in the Australian Veterinary Associations ‘Pets and People Education Programme’ (PetPEP). This involves visiting local primary schools and promoting the responsible care of pets. We educate children from a young age in the care pets need to live a healthy and happy life and that it is a responsibilty as well as enjoyable to own a pet. This done on a voluntary basis to benefit the community and promote responsible pet care. The children really enjoy it and obtain a lot of really useful information to take home to their parents.
